Substance Abuse and the Treatment of Addictions

We employ the use of acupuncture as a primary modality for treating addictions for the following substances:

Alcohol
Cocaine
Nicotine (and cannabis)
Opiates: heroin, methadone, opiate based prescription drugs
Methamphetamines

Acupuncture helps promote the detoxification of these drugs in the body as well as providing a marked reduction in the cravings for these substances once they are eliminated.  Abuse or addiction to different substances calls for different treatment schedules.  Please contact us for more details.
